Who or what the hell is Reichenstein 2165?
Reichenstein 2165 was founded in November 1992.
Main goal: playing traditional alpine folk music using acoustic und electronic instruments. Made for relaxing and dreaming.
Reichenstein is the name of a mountain near Leoben in Styria (Austria) and 2165 marks the height of the top.
Traditional music pieces are transformed to a harmonic sound design and contemporary arrangement.
The musical director of Reichenstein 2165 am I, Björn Leodolter.
Most of the own-written music is based on traditional alpine influences too but as well on classical and world music.
